High-Quality Private Label Clothing From Mega Apparel

Private Label Clothing Manufacturers Building Apparel Under Your Brand

Mega Apparel has been running private label programs since 2012, with more than 2,000 clients and 500 brands operating on our production. We handle design, patterns, fabric, sampling, bulk, labeling, and delivery, starting at 35 pieces per style.

Private Label, White Label,
and Cut and Sew

Most inquiries we get use these words as though they are the same thing. They are not,
and picking the wrong one costs you either money or control.

Route What it is You Control Suits
White label An existing stock garment with your label added The label, the color choice, the print Fast launches, merch, testing a market
Private label Our patterns and blocks, adjusted and manufacture under your brand Fabric, color, fit tweaks, labels, packaging Most growing brands, the middle ground on cost and control
Cut and sew A garment built from scratch to your own pattern Everything: block, panels, construction, trims Brands with a signature fit or a product nobody else makes

You do not have to pick one for the whole range. Plenty of clients run a private label core program and one cut-and-sew hero piece. We are happy to quote both in the same brief so you can see the cost gap before deciding.

Label Types We Produce

Custom Private Woven Labels

Woven on a loom in damask, satin, or taffeta, then sewn into the neck, side seam, or hem. Damask gives the finest detail for small logos, satin gives a smooth sheen, and taffeta is the budget option. Woven labels hold their crispness through hundreds of washes, which is why most brands use them for the main brand label.

Custom Private Satin Care Labels

Printed on soft satin and used for the information a customer needs after purchase: fiber content, wash symbols, size, and country of origin. Satin sits softer against the skin than a woven edge, so it is the usual choice for a care label stitched into the side seam.

Custom Hang Tags

Your first impression on a rail. Any shape, any cardstock, with foil stamping, spot UV, embossing, or recycled kraft finishes. Attached with string and pin, plastic barb or safety pin. We print your logo, size, price, and barcode on the same tag if you want it to double as your retail ticket.

Custom Heat Transfer Labels

Applied to the fabric with heat, leaving no stitched edge behind. This is what tagless means. It is the standard for activewear, compression, underwear, and anything worn against sweating skin, where a stitched label would scratch. It carries the same information as a woven and satin label combined.

Custom Screen Printed Labels

Printed directly onto the garment with plastisol or water-based ink. Cheaper than heat transfer at volume and completely flat against the skin. Best suited to simple one- or two-color brand marks rather than fine text.

Custom Tyvek Labels

Tyvek is a spunbonded polyethylene material that tears like fabric but resists water. It takes print sharply and is used where a label has to survive washing, outdoor use, or workwear conditions. Sewn in or attached as a durable hang tag.

Leather and PU Patches

Debossed or embossed leather and synthetic patches for denim waistbands, caps, and outerwear. A premium signal at a low unit cost.

Silicone and Rubber Labels

Raised, washable, and durable, used on technical wear, caps, and bags where a woven label would fray.

Cover Your Labeling Needs with Mega Apparel

Private labeling is a necessity for every clothing line to stand out and showcase the quality and uniqueness of their products. Our high-quality private labels enhance your brand’s visibility and build reliability and trust with customers. In fact, private label clothing is advancing along with the growth of the garment industry since every garment outlet is accepting its significance. We are the private label clothing manufacturers in Los Angeles and other parts of the USA to cater to your labeling needs.

Private Label Clothing Styles For Your Brand’s Perfection

The details are what make a garment feel like it came from a brand rather than a blank. As a custom clothing manufacturer, we produce all of it in-house, so your labels, trims, and garment come off the same line rather than being assembled from three suppliers.

  • Size labels, care labels, and main brand labels
  • Neck tapes and inner binding in your color
  • Custom patches: woven, embroidered, leather, and silicone
  • Heat printing and laser-cut heat press vinyl
  • Embellishments and heat-press stones
  • Plastic and metal aglets, custom drawcords, and laces

Packaging and Retail-Ready Delivery

Packaging and Retail-Ready Delivery

Your goods arrive ready to sell, not ready to repack.

  • Branded poly bags, custom mailers, tissue paper, and boxes
  • UPC or EAN barcode stickers applied per unit
  • Folded, tagged, polybagged, and cartoned to your packing list
  • Carton marking for retail accounts, Amazon FBA, or a third-party logistics provider

Minimums and Pricing

Our minimum order quantity is 35 to 50 pieces per product, depending on color, print method, design, and fabric GSM. That is low enough to sample a collection and put it in front of real buyers before committing to a season.

Labels and trims carry their own minimums, usually higher than the garment minimum, because a loom or a print plate has to be set up either way. We will tell you the label minimum with your first quote so there are no surprises.

Per-piece cost drops noticeably at 100, 300, and 500 units per style. Sampling is charged separately and credited against your bulk order when you proceed.

Products We Private Label

Private label works across the range, so a full collection can be produced from us, and we ship it in one carton rather than assemble it from four suppliers.

Our Private Label Options Are For All Apparel Products

Quality Assurance and Product Enhancements for You

Labels are the part of a private-label order most likely to go wrong, because they are small, they are approved as artwork rather than as a garment, and a mistake is repeated across every piece in the run.

  • You approve a physical label sample, not just a digital proof, before bulk printing.
  • Care and content wording is checked against the actual fabric composition rather than copied from your last style.
  • Label placement and orientation are checked against the approved pre-production sample.
  • Barcodes are scan tested before cartons are sealed.
  • Final random inspection at AQL 2.5 for major defects covers labeling and packing alongside the garment.

Mega Apparel is ISO certified, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified materials can be sourced when a program calls for documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clothing manufactured by one company and sold under another company's brand. The garment is made in our factory; it carries your label, tag, and packaging, and our name appears nowhere on it or in the box.
"White label" means adding your label to an existing stock garment, which is fast and cheap but gives you little control. "Private label" means we produce to your specification using our blocks, so you control fabric, color, fit, and finish. Cut and sew is the next step up, where the garment is built from your own pattern.
35 to 50 pieces per product, depending on color, print method, design, and fabric GSM. Labels and trims carry their own minimums, which are usually higher, and we will confirm those with your first quote.
Not strictly. You can print your full registered business name instead. An RN number issued by the FTC is simply a shorter alternative that many brands prefer on a small label. If you have one, send it and we will print it.
Fiber content by percentage, country of origin, the manufacturer or dealer identity, and care instructions. These sit under the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act and the FTC Care Labeling Rule. We print all four in the correct format.
Woven for the main brand label, satin or a printed label for care and content, and heat transfer where a stitched label would scratch, such as activewear, underwear, and compression. Most brands end up using two or three types across one garment.
Yes. Branded poly bags, custom mailers, boxes, and UPC or EAN barcodes applied per unit, with cartons marked for retail, Amazon FBA, or your third-party logistics provider.
