Custom Hunting Apparel Manufacturers Built Around How You Hunt
A hunter can sit for six hours in freezing wind, then hike two miles out with a pack, and the same clothing has to stay quiet, keep them warm, shed rain, and hide them from an animal that sees blue better than they do. That is a harder brief than most outdoor apparel ever gets. Mega Apparel works with hunting brands, outfitters, and retailers as a hunting clothing supplier that builds to the field rather than the catalog. We make custom hunting clothing from base layers to waterproof shells, in your camo or ours, under your label. We have been manufacturing since 2012; more than 2,000 clients have run production through our factory, and minimums start at 50 pieces per style.
Custom Hunting Apparel From Base Layer to Outer Shell
Every piece is built to your spec and pattern. Nothing here is a blank with a camo print added.
Waterproof Hunting Jackets
Two-layer or three-layer shells with a waterproof, breathable membrane, fully taped seams, pit zips for venting, and a hood that turns with the head.
Hunting Pants and Bibs
Articulated knees, gusseted crotch, knee pad pockets, and long leg zips so boots stay on. Bibs add a drop seat and high back for treestand cold.
Soft Shell Jackets and Pants
Stretch woven with a brushed or fleece-backed face. Quiet, wind-resistant, and water-repellent, the everyday layer for active hunts.
Insulated Jackets and Vests
Synthetic or down insulation in a quilted face fabric. Synthetic keeps insulating when damp; down gives more warmth for its weight.
Fleece Mid Layers
Grid fleece, high-loft fleece, and quarter-zip pullovers that trap heat and stay silent on the stand.
Base Layers
Merino wool and polyester base layers in light, mid, and heavy weights, with flatlock seams and antimicrobial finishes.
Hunting Hoodies and Quarter Zips
Performance and cotton blend hoodies in camo or solid colors, used as lightweight layers and as brand and lodge merchandise.
Blaze Orange Vests, Jackets, and Caps
Solid or patterned fluorescent orange and fluorescent pink garments, sized to the areas set out in state hunting regulations.
Rain Gear
Packable waterproof jackets and pants for wet days and early-season hunts, with quiet-face fabrics rather than crinkly nylon.
Hunting Hats, Gloves, and Gaiters
Caps, beanies, face masks, neck gaiters, and gloves are made from the same fabric and pattern, so a full kit ships together.
Women's and Youth Hunting Clothing
Women's styles are cut on their own pattern rather than resized from men's. Youth sizes follow US safety rules for children's apparel, including limits on hood and neck drawstrings.
The Layering System We Build
Hunters dress in layers so they can add and remove warmth as the day changes. Each layer has a different job, and the fabric follows from the job.
| Layer | Job | What we use |
|---|---|---|
| Base layer | Move sweat off the skin. | Merino wool or polyester knit, 150 to 250 GSM |
| Mid-layer | Trap warm air. | Grid fleece, high-loft fleece, quarter zips |
| Insulation | Hold heat while sitting still. | Synthetic or down fill in a quiet shell |
| Outer shell | Block wind and rain. | Soft shell or waterproof breathable membrane with taped seams |
Construction Details Hunters Notice
- Articulated knees and gusseted crotch for climbing into stands and over fallen timber.
- Knee pad pockets and reinforced seat panels for kneeling and sitting on wet ground.

- Long side leg zips on pants and bibs, so they go on over boots.
- YKK zippers with quiet cord pulls rather than metal tabs.
- Bar tacks at every pocket corner and stress point.
Printing Camo and Branding Without Breaking Concealment
Decoration on hunting clothing has one rule that does not apply anywhere else. It must not undo the concealment the garment was built for.
- Camo on polyester knits such as base layers, fleece, and hoodies is applied by dye sublimation, which bonds into the fiber and adds no stiffness or noise.
- Camo on nylon and woven shells is printed onto the fabric typically before it is laminated or coated, since standard sublimation is generally unsuitable for conventional nylon shell fabrics.
- Embroidery is done in matte, tonal thread. Shiny polyester thread catches light and stands out on a camo chest.
- Logos are kept small and low contrast on concealment garments and bright where they belong, on blaze orange and lodge merchandise.
- Rubber and woven patches in muted colors suit caps and packs.
Private Label, Minimums, and Lead Times
Every order ships under your brand, with your neck labels, hang tags, care labels, and packaging. Care and content labels carry fiber content, country of origin, and care instructions.
- Minimum of 50 pieces per style per color or pattern.
- Sampling in 15 to 20 business days from an approved tech pack.
- Bulk production in 20 to 25 business days after sample approval.
How We Check Hunting Apparel Before It Ships
- Hydrostatic head testing on finished seams, not only on the fabric roll.
- UV light check for optical brighteners on concealment garments.
- Colorfastness to light on fluorescent orange and pink.
- Fluorescent area measured against the stated square inches across the size range.
- Abrasion testing on upland pant facings and knee panels.
